About
A small company, registered and checkable.
Northern Pipers & Plumbers Ltd is a plumbing company registered in Scotland. It is run by its owner, who does the plumbing himself.
The company
Plumbing, carried out by the person who runs the company.
Northern Pipers & Plumbers Ltd was incorporated in March 2020 and has worked in homes in and around Edinburgh since. It is a small company, and that is the point: when you call, you speak to the person who will do the work, and the questions you ask are answered by someone who has actually stood in front of the pipes.
The company’s work is domestic plumbing: replacing and installing pipework, fitting taps, basins and sinks, replacing toilets and radiators, and carrying out whole-house replumbs. The largest job described on this website, a full replumb of a house in Edinburgh in September 2020, shows the sort of scale it is happy to take on.
The owner also holds a CSCS card, the card that shows a worker has the qualification needed to work on construction sites.
How the company works
Direct, plain and without a middleman.
There is no call centre and no contact form. You phone or send a WhatsApp message and the person who answers is the person who will carry out the job. That makes the first conversation simple: you describe what you are seeing, and you are told what the work would involve.
The company does not promise what it cannot check. This website does not list testimonials, awards or claims about how long anyone has been in the trade, because those would have to be proved, and what can be proved is shown instead: a registered company number, a real job described honestly, and a phone number that is answered by the owner.
